In the engine bay, the has been engine bored and stroked to 2.2 litres, added forged pistons, 2002 tii distributor and header, Crane electronic ignition, and a Weber 40-40 DGAS carb. All told the horsepower has gone from the stock 96 to around 125. Coupled to a five speed 320 transmission, this machine will crank out 0-60 times well under the 10 seconds that was considered fast for this car when new.

The stock seats are comfortable, but are a little short on lateral support making the steering wheel more of a hand grip than a directional control device.

These seats are Recaros made for BMW and originally installed as an option in some 320s. These have been rebuilt and recovered by Dave Varco of Aardvarc Racing - check his link
